Water Sports # 4

Week 6.... We did the slideshow!

On sunday, we met at Bugis MRT in the morning once again. Then we went to the same place (bugis junction food court) and prepared to do the slideshow. Xie Ning , our group Leader brang the laptop and thumb drive while the other group members brought papers. After that , we then opened the file that contained our group research, and started to study it. This is so as to let us have deeper understanding or idea of what we are doing on. After a few minutes of studying the research and refreshing our minds... Everyone had each a own piece of idea in our minds, then we started to discuss each other's ideas to see what we were thinking of and hopefully get the best one. But everyone's idea was equally brilliant so then we combined each other's idea and constructed sentences so as to put onto the slideshow. After approximately an hour or so,we then completed the slide shows ! :) Our group leader said that she will go back to do the pictures. All of our group members agreed and we checked the words for mistakes for the last time and finally.... We went home.

Water Sports # 1

Week 3 ..... Doing Word Document ( Encourager )

Our teacher asked the encourager to do a word document . The word document is to bring out information from three websites and at the same time to aknowledge the websites. So we did it in a way that we put the website URL on the top and then the information that we had find uner the URL. And three boxes are all in this format. Our encourager manage to do finish everything in a day!!

Water Sports # 3

Week 5.... We did researches on the water sports.

But, unfortunately, we did not have enough time in school/class to finish off the research. So , our group decided to sacrifice our weekend which is ♣ our precious sunday♣ to research and finish the best information together !! So on that very sunday morning , we went all the way to Bugis MRT , where all of us met at 11 30 pm. Then we made our way to the Bugis Junction and went to the food court to buy a drink and start working ! We left our drinks aside and set up the computer. Soon, we were already typing out the research. Well after finally finishing the research , we started to discuss about the time and date to do the powerpoint that our teacher asked us to do. We then knew that as all of us were not free on the weekdays, we had to give up another Sunday. All of us agreed and soon we were on the way home

Water Sports # 2

Star seers learning journey..... Week 4 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Today we assigned a project which title is: Focus on improvement to our neighbourhood.
We were asked to choose out of 3 categories.....
1. Water Sports
2. Bedok Reservoir- Our future classroom for learning
3. Building Rapport With Our Neighbours

In the End.... our group chose the category no. 1 , Water Sports !! And now, we are deciding on how to do a survey on the topic. But first , we have to do some group research and explore the issue . During that process , we will jot down the relevant points that we will later use to design the survey! :D

Today as we have not done anything like research and stuff , we have not encountered any problems thankfully. We hope that the rest of the journey through this project would remain like that! Also , We do hope that by having good teamwork and putting our heads together , we will create a good survey to help improve our neighbourhood.

All about Star seers

Week 2 is about.... character profiling , and other stuff. (I'll mention on the way......)

Are there eagles in our group??Yes!!! Our Leader Xie Ning who was absent on that day... :(
Are there dove in our group??? NO... Peacocks? No What about Owl?? Yes!! Who are this people?? Kim Loh , Janice Mah and Xin Yao! :)

Our Group's Ups and Downs ...

We only remember the ups but no downs :) . We remembered that when we came up with our group name.... The PW teacher was nodding his head at the side which we hope fortunately that he was pleased with our group name. Thats All!!

Problems That Our Group faced During The two weeks.......

The problems we faced on the first week was that the group leader did not come as she was sick... And this was a rather disadvantage as we thought we had to make decisions without a group member which isnt what we wanted because our group prefers to have things done as a complete team/group. For example , on the 2nd week , our PW teacher decided to ask our class to submit the file for the subject which every group has only one. Our file was with our group's leader( Xie ning ) But however she was absent so we had to delay a week to hand up our assignment. Luckily we didn't have to make alot of decisions on that day! Well,basically this is all...
